Technical term – analogue detection
The detected object is localised immediately, during the detection, usually on the basis of an audible and/or visible signal from the detector. Analogue detection is mostly used on locations of difficult access. The measured values are not stored in a data logger (as opposed to computer-aided or digital detection).
