Line detections in 2014

In 2014, we completed more than 80 projects, some of them involving line detection.  Below you find a description of some of these projects.

Line detection in three Ninove Schools

IKORN, the umbrella organisation of catholic schools in Ninove, asked Bom-Be to detect the cables and conducts on three school grounds. With radio detection, we were able to locate gas conducts, high voltage and live wires in the three areas, and on two terrains we also found lines with unknown use. During the detection, we processed all the data in real-time and marked the location of the lines on the ground. We also delivered precise digital maps with depth indication.

Conduits under the school

The technical director of a secondary school in Waregem contacted Bom-Be to locate cables and piping in view of planned infrastructural works. Not all cables on the site were live cables, nor could all of them be reached at a certain point. Thus, the clue was to provide the non-live, unattainable cables with a signal through induction – from a distance – which could be picked up by the cable tracker device. We were able to locate all gas, data, electrical and high voltage conduits, whether in use or not.
