Securing the situation
Bom-Be is responsible for securing every item of ammunition that is found on a project site. Depending on calibre and transportability of the item, it is temporarily stored in an explotainer, a secured container for temporary UXO storage. The stored ammunition is handed over to the military EOD on a regular basis. In consultation with the (local) authorities, the EOD takes care of the transport and/or disposal of the explosives. Even though Bom-Be ’s responsibility end here, we assist and support this process if needed.
